On behalf of our school, Mrs. Forbes, our former librarian, has applied for three awards given by California Readers Organization. Through the implementation of a puppet and poster project by our third and fifth grade students, our school won all three awards: The Ed Pert Award in 2004, The President's Award in 2005, and the Bonnie O'Brian Award in 2006. With these awards, our school has won three author visits by California authors, over 125 new books, and a beautiful new oak and glass display cabinet for our library!
